I was determined not waste blog space on the Heene family who last week duped the media into believing that a 6-year-old boy was trapped inside a runaway balloon. But now a video has surfaced in which these obnoxious kids, coached by their parents, perform a rap number about bashing gays - and at one point in the three-minute clip they even screech: "I hate gay faggots, I hit 'em with a bat." Just charming.
The Advocate: In the video the Heene boys rap about the "pussification" of men and frequently use the word “faggot.” At about the 2 minute and 50 second mark, one of the boys talks about throwing a rock at a “faggot” in a tree.
From Change.org: (A) homophobic rap video has taken the Twitter and YouTube worlds by storm, in which the three boys do a Beastie Boys-style rap to the tune of bashing gays, while the mother plays guitar and the father plays harmonica. Ah, nothing quite warms the soul like a group of six-to-ten year olds saying how much they want to throw rocks at faggots. It makes Buju Banton look like a Paul Anka concert.
I've noticed that copies of the video are being pulled from YouTube as fast as users can post them - but you should still be able to see it here or here. (Although I can't imagine why anyone would want to.)

It's not easy for homohaters to come off as cool as they think they are. When Heene was pitching all those story ideas to reality TV, one little antigay slip of the tongue and the networks would nix his show. But on a bright note, the father will probably get his, er, projct 'touched' while he's sitting in jail on felony charges. And touched. And touched. And touched again. What goes around....

This family is disgusting and I hope they ALL get the karma that is coming their way.

Ugh. I watched that video last night. Couldn't help myself. It was terrible, bad singing, bad acting, bad taste. Just bad.

Good Lordie - I watched the video - what a poor representation of parenting. Those people are raising 3 little heathens.

On a related side note, one report yesterday said that child protective services was looking into the welfare of the kids... sounds like there are questions about that.
