Republican strategists and Main Stream Media had a field day exploiting Barack Obama's former pastor Jeremiah Wright over some sermons he made when Obama wasn't even present. So let's take a look at the preacher men in Gov. Sarah Palin's life...
Enter Stage Right: Firebrand pastor Ed Kalnins of Wasilla Assembly of God. Responding to people who criticized Bush's handling of Hurricane Katrina, Kalnins stormed from the pulpit: "I hate criticisms towards the President because it's like criticisms towards the pastor -- it's almost like, it's not going to get you anywhere, you know, except for hell. That's what it'll get you!" Got that, America? According to one of Palin's spiritual leaders, if you criticize the President, you will burn in a lake of fire for all eternity.
From Huffington Post: He preaches repeatedly about the "end times" or "last days," an apocalyptic prophesy held by a small but vocal group of Christian leaders. During his appearance with Palin in June, he declared, "I believe Alaska is one of the refuge states in the last days, and hundreds of thousands of people are going to come to the state to seek refuge and the church has to be ready to minister to them." He also claims to have received direct "words of knowledge" from God, providing him information about past events in other people's lives. (HuffPo has video of Kalnins with Palin.) Here's another quote from Kalnins: "I'm not going tell you who to vote for, but if you vote for this particular person, I question your salvation." (Pssst. MSM, we have another Crazy Preacher Alert. Are you listening? Nope, didn't think so.) Palin's current pastor, Larry Kroon, has close ties to David Brickner, the executive director of Jews for Jesus. Brickner, often criticised by Jewish organizations, spoke recently at the Wasilla Bible Church - at Kroon's invitation - describing terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" on Jews who haven't embraced Christianity. Palin was present in church that day.

Uh, most people who actually follow the bible believe in end time prophecies. Hit and a miss.

Most people who follow the bible do not believe that these are Last Days, nor do they believe that their voting preference will jeopardize their salvation.

There's a big difference between "Goddamn America...it's in the Bible" and "America is damned...it's in the Bible".

Sounds like a religious nutcase. Did anyone really expect McCain's VP to go to a normal church? (Whatever that is.)
